Ralph Provisero

Born in Miami, FL, Ralph Provisero is an active contemporary sculptor. His works have been exhibited in the United States, Mexico and Canada, and in a number of important collections including the Martin Z. Margulies Collection, the Bass Museum of Art and the University of Miami campus. Provisero currently lives and works in Miami. Provisero earned a Bachelor of Fine arts from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1995. He has taught as an art instructor in several capacities and has been a visiting artist at the University of Miami, the Kansas City Art Institute and Washington University. In 2007, he received the Atlantic Center for the Arts / Joan Mitchell Foundation Scholarship for Visual Artists. Regularly featured in national and local press, Provisero's work is showcased in Miami Contemporary Artists, a book by Paul Clemence and Julie Davidow (2007) and The Martin Z. Margulies Collection: Painting and Sculpture (2008).
