April 24 - Gate opens at 7:30, poetry/screenings at 8:00 pm.

What: Poets of the Unreeled: Outdoor Movietelling at the Dorsch
Where: Dorsch Gallery
Who: Walter K. Lew, Matt Gajewski, Alan Ramon Clinton, Jen Nellis, Vince Caruso, Chris Joyner, Leah Silvieus, Christine Williamson.
Info: Eight Miami and California poets perform their own wild scripts for excerpts from famous films, TV episodes, and music videos projected from a Batmobile in the Dorsch's dark and dangerous yard. Drawing on the little-known history of live voice-acting and narration of films by poets all around the world (the katsuben stars of Japan, anticolonial pyonsa of Korea, Weimar-Germany Kinoehrzahler, Brezhnev-era Gavrilov translators, etc.), these works move CinePoesis to a whole new level. With electronic musical accompaniment by Eden Grey and clips from archival benshi and pyonsa performances. Part of the O, Miami Poetry Festival.
