William Keddell: Sphericals

March 8, 2008 - April 5, 2008

Opening reception March 8, 2008, 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.

'Sphericals' is the newest work by William Keddell, working in the medium of Stereographs Keddell has been documenting his surroundings using this lush medium for decades. For 'Sphericals', Keddell has entered a world he alone creates; the images are completely assembled with the use of a computer. The images have a volume due both to the stereographs and the shape of the images a sphere, and they resemble the depiction of far off Galaxies so often seen in science texts. The worlds created are floating in front of your eyes in full 3-D but never reachable.
